In September 2021 one of the squirrels that had been visiting us daily for years disappeared. A few days later a hungry, bedraggled squirrel too young to be out of the nest showed up at our back door, and we ended up taking her in. Her first night with us included a saucer of applesauce while we started looking for help.

My Simracing Rig #This is my DIY wooden simrig. I built this in 2016 for a Logitech setup, but it has evolved over the years and now houses a mostly Moza setup. The seat cost me $25 from a junkyard and might be the most comfortable seat in the house. No room for monitors, I do all of my racing in VR with a Valve Index.

First Post #This is my first post. I’m checking out Hugo and a few themes as a candidate for a simple site. (I settled on Congo) I’m really liking how easy it is to generate a static site with Hugo. I’ll look into deeper customization later if I need anything in particular, but this will get me started.
